Flower
Vases
Flower vases come in various shapes and sizes to
accomodate the intended flower display.
Bud Flower Vases are meant for a single
bloom, perhaps with the addition of a few greens. Those with a
wider opening are also ideal
for
early-spring mini bouquets of snowdrops or violets. For a table
setting, bud vases are perfect in a repetitive pattern. The same
can be said for a display on a window sill, shelf or mantle.
Flower Bouquet Vases come in different
sizes and shapes. Perfect from traditional thin-waisted shapes
to modern glass blocks, or small vases for
a handful of wildflowers to larger vases to display grand bouquets
. . . we have them all.
Centerpiece Vases are specific to
the ocasion. For a banquet table setting, select a large
impressive vase to hold a splendid
bouquet. If you plan a centerpiece for a table where you serve
food, choose a centerpiece that keeps the sightlines open across
the table, allowing natural eye contact with your guests.
Flower Arrangement Vases
and Containers are even more specific.
Flower arrangements are typically created using florist foam,
which needs to be hidden. This may be a challenge, if you use
all-glass table settings and ceramic or porcelain
feels inappropriate.
Luckily, we have a choice of deep colored
glass vases, bowls or even platters. Another alternative might
be a cut
crystal arrangement vase where the cut pattern hides
stems and
foam into a pleasant
green reflection.
