Flower
Bouquet Vases
Who hasn't searched (quite often in vain) for a
proper flower vase to hold a gift bouquet or bunch of flowers brought
by a dinner guest?
Broad and open-topped flower bouquet vases . . .
. . . just the thing
for larger arrangements or the centerpiece that brings compliments
from invited
dinner
guests. They allow an arrangement to fully 'relax,' even drifting
over the rim. For the single-stem rose, or several long-stemmed
lilies or gladiola, a tall and small-throated heavyweight decorative
vase sets them off to great advantage.
Color or clear? It's always an issue.
For obscuring stems or florist arrangement foam, deep colors or
'cased' crystal vases are the obvious choice. Stunning in their
own right, they cover up what's inside, while beautifully catching
the light from candles or a nearby window.
Consider the placement.
A narrow table in an entry hall wants a vase that doesn't overpower,
particularly a crystal piece that won't be overturned by the careless
hanging of a coat. For the dining-table, size bespokes the importance
of the occasion, while lifting flower arrangements above the sight-line
of conversing guests.
Elsewhere, it's a matter of choice, but the choice is always appropriate
in fine hand-crafted crystal.
