Glass Vases
Truth be told, our art glass vases seldom actually
need flowers, they draw attention on their own. Here are a few
tips for showing decorative vases off to their (and your) best
advantage.
Displaying Art Glass Vases
Give them space and prominence ... the corner of a desk or centered
on your dining table... after all they are works
of art. As a general rule, the more complex and intricate the
flower vase design, the simpler the flower arrangement you choose.
Consider Colors
For intensely
colored vases, you'll never go wrong with white or a single-color
bouquet. But when it's time to be festive, don't
be afraid
of colors and bunches and gobs of flowers. Multi-colored bouquets
will bring you many compliments when placed in the center
of a
party
table.
The Minimalist Approach
Many modern
vase designs lend themselves to minimalist arrangements
of branches, grasses, greens or even dried flowers. Silk flowers
are beautifully made these days. How about using a bud-vase for
a stick of bamboo or several corkscrew willow
twigs?
Arrangements like these are perfect for effortless permanent placement
in your home.
